Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am to you all for giving me the birth experience I had been hoping and dreaming for. You really listened to my goals and wishes, and kept our room so calm and positive. My first birth was terrifying and this has replaced that memory with one that is Empowering and truly Magical.
You have a really special gift ~ to be able to keep someone so relaxed and focused during such a scary and vulnerable life event. I feel so so blessed that you were the one there to share our journey.

Laura supported my husband and I in the pregnancy, labour and birth of our daughter. Laura's 10 years of being in the birth world has meant she is armed with knowledge to best support a labouring woman. This experience showed in her tenderness, compassion and encouragement towards me and my husband. Laura's continuous support brought reassurance and comfort to me during the birth and postpartum, both trying times for me. Knowing that we could trust Laura with this cherished time like this, and also with the care of our eldest daughter brought peace to my heart. 

Laura helped ground me during labour and also in those last days before our little girl came, when my emotions were all over the place. I also loved having Laura on call to answer questions, overcome fears and share life together.

Laura is a doula you will not regret having support you during one of the most transformative undertakings of your life.

 Laura was such a beautiful presence through my second pregnancy. 

We clicked immediately on our first meeting and she understood and supported my choices around what I wanted for my birth. Having Laura come and do the rebozo and show my husband how to do it was a lifesaver in those few weeks before Magnolia arrived. 

I had a very fast labour, I think being so supported in my pregnancy gave me a lot of confidence in my body, so much so that I was close to giving birth at home!
Laura may not have been there for the birth of Magnolia but she arrived shortly after during the third stage of my labour, which she knew was probably more of a pressure point for me anyway but I was able to advocate for myself and my third stage was managed exactly how I wanted. 

Having Laura for postpartum care was so lovely, knowing I would have a friend stop by, just to check in on me and to debrief with, I think is a really important part of the partpartum journey.
